| I have been using my Clinical Social Work skills with older adults and their families for the past twenty years both in the home and many other settings including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult day health programs, and outpatient clinics. My experience not only equips me to understand and relate to what older adults and their families are experiencing, it also provides me with an excellent grasp of community resources. My education and awards include: Master’s of Social Work from Boston University with a Clinical Concentration in Gerontology Louis Lowy Certificate in Gerontological Studies Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center Fellowship in Gerontological Social Work Bea Sachs Phillip Award for “One Picture is Worth a Thousand Words: The Home as a Setting for Clinical Social Work with the Elderly.” |
